Merry Christmas from Moniker Projects

23.12.20

Christmas may be cancelled for many of us in the UK, but in spite of travel bans and increased regulations, we’re attempting to keep the spirit alive through thanks and good cheer that we hope will carry us into the new year.

2020 continues to present us with seemingly endless challenges, and we don’t really want to harp on about all that we have collectively tried to overcome. This year was hard, and we’ve been very lucky to be able to continue doing what we do. Many haven’t been as fortunate. We just want to say thank you, and let you know we’re out here rooting for you as well. Whether your loved ones are close at hand or a video call away, we at Moniker Projects wish you the very best on this unconventional holiday.

For those of us who could use some additional support, please know:

Samaritans are available on 116 123 (UK) for free, 24/7. They are there to talk, and to listen. They won’t judge or tell you what to do.

C.A.L.M. are available on 0800 58 58 58 (UK), from 5pm–midnight 365 days a year. They are national helpline specifically for men to talk about any troubles they are feeling or distress they are experiencing.

For support in a crisis, text Shout to 85258. If you’re experiencing a personal crisis, are unable to cope and need support, Shout can help with urgent issues such as: suicidal thoughts, abuse or assault, self-harm, bullying, and relationship challenges.
