A new short film featuring illustrations by KAWS, José Parlá and more dropped Monday night in an innovative bid to support the National Young Arts Foundation. The non-profit committed to professional development commissioned the work, recruiting notable alumni and ‘distinguished gusts’ to contribute their hand in a sweet short featuring birds drawn by 18 different artists – including Shephard Fairey and Robert Chambers.
It’s uplifting, playful, and all for sale. See a scene you like? Press pause and add it to your cart. At $175.00 many of the slides featuring KAWS easily identifiable bird have already been snatched up, but there are still plenty of one-of-a-kind pieces still available, all going towards supporting young artists. It’s a pretty cool model and a pretty cool cause. If you purchase three or more, the price gets knocked down to 150 USD per frame.
